Expander Technologies Inc. has been formed as a partnership between IMG Industries Inc. of Penticton and Expander Energy Inc. of Calgary, AB. to exercise an exclusive license to produce a gasifier for the Canadian market. The gasifier manufactured by Expander Technologies Inc. is a proven commercial technology operating multiple power plants in Europe. In addition, we will be the exclusive Canadian manufacturer of Expander Energy’s patented (CA 2 989 862) Enhanced BioMass Gasifier. The significance of the gasifier is that it will allow Expander to activate and commercialize its patented BGTL and EBGTL technologies to manufacture extremely low carbon intensity renewable diesel fuel, with the added benefit of utilizing a ‘non-food source’ to accomplish this.
